Don Bond | Corporal Don Bond I was 15 when Pearl Harbor hit. My brother, Lou, was seven years older than me. Everyone was worried about him having to go into the service. Nobody ever thought I would have to go. My brother went into the Air Force. He went over to Spokane, then to Douglas, Arizona. In four years he never went anywhere except those two places. I was in the service for twenty and a half months and was in nine foreign countries. |
