Troop Corporal Reg Spittles (deceased)

Reg Spittles landed on Juno beach during the night of D-Day +10 with the 2nd Northamptonshire Yeomanry. He served in Cromwell tanks, taking part in Operation Epson, Operation Goodwood to the east of Caen, and Operation Bluecoat to secure the key road junction at Vire. He later moved to 1st Royal Tank Regiment as part of the 7th Armoured Division. Sadly, Reg passed away on the 6th of November 2013.
