The Counter Improvised Explosive Device Task Force was originally composed of Royal Logistical Corps EOD, Pioneer, and Royal Engineer teams. Currently the C-IED task force is a tri service formation including units from the Royal Navy and RAF. The most dangerous part of their work involves locating and isolating IED's before they explode, in this case making roads safe to use. |
