Sturmtiger or Sturmmorser,  This heavy Howitzer firing a 38cm rocket projectile. produced by the Sturmorser company. built of a Tiger 1 chassis. These military prints of the Sturmtiger are available from Cranston Fine Arts the military print company

Sturmtigers or full title 38cm RW61 auf Sturmmorser Tiger. was produced by Alkett in Berlin. It had a crew of 7.  The 38cm rocket assisted RW61 or Raketenwerfer 61 was originally designed for the german navy by Rheinmetall-Borsig.  It was designed to support infantry in built up areas.  This military print of a Sturmtiger of Sturmmorser Company 1002, commanded by Lieutenant Zippel, take on ammunition in preparation for the battle to come. These fearsome monsters 38cm rocket projectors could penetrate up to 2.5m of reinforced concrete. Luckily for the Allies only 18 were completed by the war's end.
